Grow light suggestions and tips? Learning very quickly that I definitely should've done more research on my grow light than the wattage and light output. My current light goes from +1050fc to 9fc within 2 feet and the timers not working (I blame planned obsolescence since its been exactly 1 day past the return date) I'm thinking of replacing her eventually with a sansi, but I want oppinions. Is there a difference between the bulbs and the puck lights? I wanna try to have around the 750fc mark because I miss my succulent empire😭

Sansi or barrina are both nice and work well for high light needs. Obviously depends on their output. I have the barrina t5 and t8, as well as the rectangular lamp. Both great. And the sansi tree light and pendent

Depending on how big you’re looking for the freelicht lights on amazon are actually really good. They’re bigger tho

I have some “cheap” puck lights from Amazon and they’re OK. I have changed to clip on lamps and Sansi bulbs. Also I have had good luck with adding light bars direct to my plant shelves. I try to buy lights I can adjust wattage if possible.

Hope that was somehow helpful. 😳

2nd the barrina lights! Plants love them and they aren't awful to look at if you care about aesthetics. Really nice that you can link them together and turn them on and off independently. I hate the cheap timers on so many of the grow lights because you have to reset them every time the power goes off and many don't work with a smart plug. Smart plug + barrina lights have been my fav (reasonably priced) combo.

If you want to spend a ton of money, soltech and mother grow lights are very, very nice.

I have both Sansi and Barrinas. I like the aesthetics of the Barrinas but usually prefer the Sansi because they are brighter. Their light spray is not as wide and that seems to concentrate their light. One Sansi puck light is the equivalent to one two foot long Barrina light. They both have 10 watt output. In my living room, for aesthetics I have Barrina lines on shelving. I need to install at least four 2 foot strips under each shelf to reach the level my plants need. First pic is four Sansi pod lights on that small shelf. 2nd pic short shelves have one foot lights and longer have the longer two foot lights. So calculating out put, shelf in first pic puts out twice as much as the small shelves in the second pic.

Love the haworthias and thanks for the advice!! I have a smaller slat box for the succulents I plan to put so it's good to see how they look in small spaces! Your shelves are beautifully used omg
