I just got this monstera on Friday 08/29 and I notice the leaf has some yellow on it does any one know why and what I should do ?

Monsteras love foliar spray!!!! Also they actually like to be slightly root bound. Give it time to adjust and it will flourish beautifully💚

It’s likely adjusting to the new environment, light, humidity, watering habits and water chemistry. Some plants can take a month to settle in.

Monsteras like bright indirect light or direct morning light. A diffused south or west light works too. Diffusers like sheer curtains or opaque window film reduces the light’s intensity for west and south windows. North windows are too dark for them to thrive unless a lot of light bounces into the window. Get a strong grow light if the window light is insufficient.

Some root bound conditions won’t hurt monsteras, as InkgirlC commented. I stopped repotting to larger pots many years ago. They adjust. I fertilize biweekly and add manure to the topsoil in spring.
