Hello I recently decided that I want to get a few house plants and was wondering where a good reputable but doesn’t break the bank company/online or stores that I can check out or go to to get some more. Also side note I was thinking about getting a Venus fly trap are those easy enough to take care of or no?

Lots of local, plant focused stores now. I’d use google maps for your area and look for a store. They can also help you as a beginner. Just fyi, once you go down this rabbit hole there’s no going back 😂

Yea I can thank my boss for that lmao she thought she killed a plant gave it to me to try and fix who has never taken care of a plant and I managed to bring it back tried giving it back to her and she told me I should just keep it lmao

Yup. Look for a local garden center. Not all carry houseplants, but some will

No the venus fly trap are hard to keep alive. As a beginner i recommend a golden pothos or any pothos, snake plants and a ZZ plant. Super easy and very forgiving if you underwatered or over watered..

Venus fly traps aren’t usually expensive so if you want to experiment do it, but I’d get one in the warmer months! I’m not super super experienced but I do have a Venus and she’s constantly needing attention…. As if she doesn’t have enough attitude.

Try:  
Pothos variations first, but then branch out! The app has an identification function and it will tell you what’s easy/moderate/hard/advanced!

Depends on your area. Mine have come from grocery stores, home improvement stores, and local plant stores.
