Good evening plant lovers.
I’ve been hearing about splitting some types plants when there are many in a pot…… recently got a philodendron Ring of fire and a Monstera. Their pots are full. Should I separate?

In my opinion, it really comes down to personal preference. I like my plants to look very full and lush, so I often choose to keep them together in the same pot. However, others may prefer to separate and maybe gift, or put them solo on a pole to climb … the options are endless!

You can separate them if you want to thin the pot down rather than get a bigger pot. I think I'm with SR on this. I would probably leave them together and keep them as one plant.
