# First picture is end of January this year; second is end of August.…

First picture is end of January this year; second is end of August. This plant has more than doubled in size and is growing faster than I can find new places to fit it, after months of leaf loss and stagnant growth. I didn’t become way better with plants in that period; the main changes were that I removed the plug around its roots and gave it a grow light. If you’re ever feeling bad about a plant not doing well, try to remember two things:

\- People with “green thumbs” are mostly just people with big south-facing windows

\- Plants are resilient and can come back, even if you’ve been too busy or depressed or stressed out to give the best care. The fact that you care means it’s probably in a much better situation than most. 💗

Would love to see other people’s pics of plants bouncing back, whether from their state when you bought them or from how they used to look in your care.
