Hello!!! I recently got this beautiful plant last month but I’m not sure why he’s dying :( I moved him around because I thought he was getting too much sun but not sure if it’s because I need to repot him! Please let me know what I can do to save this beautiful plant 🌱

Yellowing is often a sign of over watering. The schedule in the app should be a reminder to CHECK the soil and see if it’s still wet - not an automatic watering.

With the roots shooting out the bottm, you may want to gently pull the pot off and see if it’s root bound (more roots than soil, or roots coiling around the pot).

I used to be a CHRONIC overwaterer. I ☠️ a lot of plants. The best tip for me was “an under watered plant is WAY easier to save than an over watered plant.” Good luck! You’ve got this!!

The new leaves look healthy so plant is doing okay. Cut off the yellow leaves as soon as they show signs of turning yellow so the plant is not wasting energy on those. And be sure not to overwater. Let dry out between watering and water from the bottom only

Need to cut the old 2 leaves off, it’s normal the outside which is the oldest leaves to die for new healthy leaves to grow from the center, yes looks like a repot is needed, give it a good well draining soil mix, looks like it may be needing fertilizer/feed not sure when you did this last. If you do a repot you won’t need much fertilizer as new soil mix should have it in. Another way to know if root bound is when you have been watering does a fair bit just drain out onto the saucer / pot, yes they like a bright light, just don’t put it in a window that has strong sun rays, if it is near a window like this then just keep back by 30-50cm, and don’t mist when sun is at its strongest, normal I find misting in the evening works best as strong leaves getting scorched.

Loving the two baby corms growing in there

I’m sure a repot would help extremely, just don’t go no more then 2 inches bigger the root ball. Make sure you use a well draining soil mix. I would even consider using a self watering pot so you do not risk overwatering, also check your plant with a soil moisture meter before watering. Consider a humidifier or a pebble tray for this plant, and consistently keep your foliage clean with neem oil or wiped down with a wet cloth to avoid pest. Good luck
