So I got his beautiful lady today, very happy and excited…but her roots are hanging way out there. I know I should let her get used to her new climate but what should I do? Repot or not? If not now I definitely know later but…should I wait at all? I just don’t want her to die.

Give her some time to acclimate to her new environment.

If you have grow lights, humidifier and you keep your house above 68 in the winter, you could repot in a few weeks. Otherwise, I’d wait until it’s officially Spring

Thank you so much! I was worried, I didn’t want to add any more stress to her if I didn’t have to.

Nice find! I agree with Amie. My two cents to add is to be careful about leaving water in the tray (assuming that’s what you’re using) for longer than a day. I’ve noticed with my plants, when they’ve had roots coming out the bottom, those outside roots can rot if I accidentally leave them sitting in water. I mean, it’s a good policy in general to not let your soil plants sit in water lol but sometimes I leave it to soak in, which doesn’t particularly work with root-bound plants

Yes I do bottom water but haven’t watered her at all bc I noticed her soil is wet. I’ll make sure to only leave her in the tray for a little bit when I end up watering her. Thank you!!
