I have a small space right above the patio door in my apartment(east facing). What are some small and easy maintenance plants for this space? I was thinking pothos but I’m worried it willl stick to the walls.

A little more advanced of a plant (at least for me lol) would be an inch plant. They are pretty and can grow big and fast

Haworthia! These love morning sun, and they are low maintenance.

Maybe a hoya? You can let it cascade a bit and if it gets too far just cut it back, it won't mind.

Pathos would work also. It doesn't stick to walls. It just hangs there and you can cut it when it gets too long. That will make it bushier.
