Could someone tell me if this is a pothos or a philodendron? I rescued it from my grandmom who can’t care for it anymore \& I initially thought it was a pothos n joy but I’m not entirely sure.

Thank you!

Interesting, some leaves look like njoy and some like manjula!

I just looked up the manjula, you’re right! Now I’m over here trying to google the differences lol.

They are the same genus, epipremnum aureum, it’s just different variegation coloring bc of a genetic mutation of the og golden pothos that makes the specific varieties. So while rarer, it can start to genetically mutate a different variegation variety from its current one.

I am definitely a lover of the smaller leaf pathos. The do much better at being bushes or bush like. After almost a year of dealing with the tentacles on this one I cut them off to return the plant to its lovely bushy form.

What did you do to get it so full? Mine was given to me this way \& I was thinking about cutting, propagating \& replanting some of the longer areas but I’m so impatient lol.

I had to go back and look at my Planta logs. (Guess they’re not so silly now huh. ☺️😉)
