I personally repot if roots are out the bottom that much. BUT, I鈥檓 not an old hand at this either. Definitely wait for more responses, lol. There are times that stray roots get stuck outside of the drainage holes, but this looks excessive. ### KJM coment贸 el 2025-05-14 Violets are perennial, at least here in zone 5 they are. You could put it in the ground.
