Does anyone have experience running a etsy shop or similar for selling your plants? What'd you think? I'm considering setting one up and I want to know if it's worth it.

I haven't sold plants on etsy, just ebay or apps. The big things are figuring out fees and factoring them into your sale price. as well as keeping track of taxes, based on your state.

No direct experience on Etsy though I’ve sold plants in other venues. My understanding for Etsy is that you either need fairly pricy plants or pretty high volumes for it to be worth it. You might already be doing this but if you’re in a large enough area might be worth starting on Facebook marketplace

Yeah I’ve heard Facebook marketplace is pretty good. I sell my plants at markets/craft fairs , and a antique store

People I know who have had Etsy shops don’t really use them too much. I know there’s a Reddit community (r/etsysellers) if you want to check that for a better idea! You should bc I buy most of my plants off Etsy and I’ll totally buy from you lol
