In general it's 1-3ft from the plants I want it to mainly effect. My Dreo has % settings. So I just set it to , say 70%, warm or cool and it cycles on and off as needed. If you don't have one that has settings you could get a Govee hydrogemeter. It has a phone app, and you can set it to alert you when the humidity or temp go under or over your setting. They usually have pretty small tanks. And just don't have the output to make an impact. To give you an idea, My Dreo will go through a gallon of Distilled water in a 10hr period, keeping the living room at 70% humidity (normal humidity at around 55%) If you had one in say a cabinet, it may push out enough to help a bit though #### Lo님이 2024-11-28에 답변했습니다. Yes it’s pretty small and only lasts a couple of hours. But I use it anyway so thought I would set it by the plants and see what happened 🤷🏻‍♀️. So I feel that you need the hygrometer because every house is different. I aim for 55%. I have two small humidifiers running as needed.
