# Hi all! I am going on holiday all next week and all my plants have…

Hi all!

I am going on holiday all next week and all my plants have grow lights on them. I’m not sure whether to leave the lights off completely or have them on the entire time? Some of the lights have timers but some don’t. Will it be too much for them to have a whole week of light or is it better to just leave them off. The ones in my living room do get some natural light but the ones in my bedroom will have pretty much none. If anyone has any advice that would be much appreciated!

Depends on if someone can come in and water. If not, it might be best to turn the ones off that don’t have timers so they don’t use up too much water. Could they get some residual light from the timed grow lights?

I would just turn them off until you return because the grow lights throw out a lot of heat….they should be fine

You can always buy them timer plugs that you plug your grow lights into, then you can set them to come on for 8 hours and turn off xx
