Hi all! How do you handle repotting silver inch plants (wandering dude)? Do you even try with stems breaking off all over the place? Or do you deliberately break them off in the fall and propagate in water and then pot in the spring?

I propagate right into soil. I remove the lower leaves, poke a hole in the soil and stick the vine in the hole. I sometimes add rooting hormone powder. But, tradescantia plants really don’t need it. They root fast. Just keep the soil moist and not soaked for about 3 weeks.

You can stick what breaks off back into the soil
