Change up your potting mix love and I have noticed mine do best in medium light.
They love chunky soil I make my own,
1bag of potting mix
1bag of perlite
And I add orchid bark for extra aeration in the roots. And maybe go down to a smaller pot for awhile till her roots recoup 🥰
There also gonna be a possibility that she might have root rot if that pot that she is in does not have a draining hole in the bottom that soil does look pretty wet. They do like to dry out in between water waterings.
I hope this helps!!!🤗🫶🏼

Agree for soil. Even a succulent mix. A self watering pot is prob not best for zz’s. Their soil should dry out between waterings. Mine are in fairly bright light

I use the naked roots pots also but let the stay dry for a week or so before watering again.

Thanks for that info.

I would say that the roots are growing right now. Your pot is a little big for that plant. Put it in some sun and give it a week don’t water to much. Also make sure the water is draining properly make your soil chunky and use perlite ! Happy growing.

Agree with all the comments here. It is easy to overwater a ZZ and get root rot. Mine started like yours and here is where it is this morning, about a year later.
