# Trying to pick a name for this Ficus Elastica Tineke my dad gifted me…

Trying to pick a name for this Ficus Elastica Tineke my dad gifted me ☺️ I’m leaning towards Lydia, Sam, Terry, Ariche, Linh, or Stella. Any thoughts? TIA for any suggestions! (For reference, my other ficus elastica are named Lani (burgundy type) and Ruby (ruby or Belize variegation)

I like Stella, that was my favorite cat’s name 😁

Thanks! And aww. My dad suggested I name her after our dog that we recently inherited. Her name’s Camelot (Cammie, for short, and he likes it since he thought it looked like a camouflage pattern on the leaves. He literally just picked it up in the nursery and nearly walked out of the room without me 😂 he’s not into houseplants like I am, but he thought it was neat and just said whatever let’s get this one. I don’t think she really looks like a “Cammie” though 😅 (neither does our dog.)

I love that! Cammie would be a good story since your dad picked it but if you decided against it, then my vote was for Stella also and Terry after that 😇

Heyy how often should I water my Belize I just got the same one and I’m not to sure?

I wait at least 11-14 days for my ficus elasticas. I let mine completely or almost completely dry out between waterings. At the moment, my Belize’s watered every 12-13 days. Hope this helps.
