# I am new plant mom and I got this Chinese ever green crystal bay…

I am new plant mom and I got this Chinese ever green crystal bay plant back in April. The first pic where it’s nice and green is when I first got it and this is her now. Can someone tell me why it has lost its color and is droopy? She sits by a window with shades. Any help is appreciated!

Plant looks great to me! Possibly just growing. I think a lot of plants look different when we get them since they were growing in a greenhouse/nursery before they ended up at the store.

I agree with the last commenter! Your plant looks healthy and I have two Chinese Evergreens who look exactly like yours and they are doing wonderful with new growth all the time. You’re doing great with this one 😊
