Happy Friday Plantanauts, I need assistance on a plant ID. My little brothers have been attempting to take care of their own plant since I got them interested in the different species I brought after moving, and I'm gonna take over care for this one so they don't get discouraged from taking care of other ones. Any possible ideas on what it could be?

Dianthus! Great plant. Hardy at least down to zone like 6 or 5 I believe. They’re a biennial I think but I’ve had several that I’ve had outdoors that have come back for three years.they’re pretty neglect tolerant. Do fine in sun and shade and usually have lots of flowers
