what in the world is this plant??? i was given a few and this is the only one i cannot seem to figure out!

Agree does look like one, just not seen them with the root trunk out off the soil, have seen a fair few bonsai style plant versions with them above soil, do you think it’s not planted down anough, looks good and growing well so I’d leave it like it

oh it was NOT planted at all, the lady split hers, and just threw it in the pot, her roots FILLED the planter

I agree with the two above. Other than that it could be a cast iron plant maybe?
