Hello! I just repotted this birds of paradise I got. I did it in the shower, I wiped down all the leaves with minty soap and I also put some superthrive stuff in the water. I’m wondering if maybe the pot is too small or if it needs more soil bc it’s leaning now! The first picture is how it was before :( I’m wondering if this will cause it to break? I don’t have any steaks to put on it at the moment. Also, some of the roots I think are peaking. I’m thinking maybe I put too much dirt on the bottom.

I think it needs planted down further into the pot. Mine is planted about an inch or two deeper.

Also, when I repot a large plant like this, I add bamboo stick to help keep it straight until it’s settled into the pot.

Should I wait to repot it again? And I put about an inch of soil at the bottom before I put the plant in but it was peaking through. Does that mean the pot needs to be taller? lol I’m kind of new to plants
