# I have some rose stem cuttings that I was thinking about growing into…

I have some rose stem cuttings that I was thinking about growing into a rose bush. I heard that it was a hard thing to do, so I thought I would get some advice before I tried it.

I used to cut back my roses nearly weekly to keep them producing all summer (23 breeds). My next door neighbor would come and drag off all of my cuttings (she was a deaf mute so communication was a bit of a challenge) after living next door for three years I noticed that she had every one of my rose plants! I went and asked her nonagenerian mother how she did it. She said she took my heartier stems and simply stuck them in the ground and watered them early every morning. Voila
