# So i have an African Violet plant and Planta says it needs watered in…

So i have an African Violet plant and Planta says it needs watered in 3 days but her leaves are wilting and for my other plants like pothos it means they’re thirsty. I dont want root rot so do I stick to Planta guide or go ahead and water?

if the soil is dry then i’d water

a picture might help tell whats going on, as wilting can mean a few different things. i would check the soil though, and make sure the water fully absorbed through the pot :)

It shouldn't need watered every 3 days. And ideally bottom water

I actually watered it like over a week ago, planta count down till its next watered is in three days

Gotcha, so i bottom mine about once a week
