# Hi! I was wondering if this was part sun, part shade or full sun?…

Hi! I was wondering if this was part sun, part shade or full sun? This is a southwest facing window; however I put these window film covers on. The app says full sun. Some of my plants that require part sun and part shade have been doing well in this location so far. Suggestions?

I'd go off the candles the meter is measuring. My plants don't show any difference from the south window that has a film, and doesn't.

If you stand with your back to that window, hold a sheet of paper about 6 inches above the paper, and look at the shadow - low light will have a very blurry shadow, medium light will be a bit more shapely, and bright light will show your shadow dark and very crisp ☺️

I put my film up for the same reason. It filters enough to make it 50/50.
