I really am not trying to kill this lucky bamboo. I’ve struggled for a couple of years:  
1\. It was first brought home by my son, 3 stalks, and placed each in a bottle. Seemed to be ok but he wasn’t consistently changing the water and it didn’t look healthy so  
2\. I stepped in and planted it in a pot with soil. Did ok for a bit then wasn’t looking great, looked like it was drying out- so  
3\. I thought I’d try back in water as it looked like most people kept theirs that way. I cut the dry parts off \& placed it in a jar with pebbles and it started growing new branches. Then it started looking pale and  
4\. I took it out and saw it had started to rot. So I cut the rotting part down….  
5\. Now it’s in clean water for over 2 weeks and no roots. Leaves are starting to look a little pale. Should I just let it go?

Spray roots with hydrogen peroxide before soiling again and or put it in Leca. Look up on YouTube for Leca.  
Give it another chance.
