# When I got this awhile back at Lowe’s it was labeled as “homalomena”…

When I got this awhile back at Lowe’s it was labeled as “homalomena” but does anyone else think this is an elephant ear? I’ve looked all over the web trying to find a match for what homalomena this is and nothing looks exactly like it. But then I looked up “black stem alocasia” and elephant ear came up and it looks almost identical to me.

Im not 100% sure but I would agree with black stem alocasia. When I did the plant id thing it came up with calocasia but I believe this is an alocasia, with the way the stems meet the leaves.
