# Hello, I’m very new to caring for plants, and I just bought a cat…

Hello,  
I’m very new to caring for plants, and I just bought a cat palm plant. I internally had it by the tv under the vent but moved it right by the window. I have a few questions, would that be too much light? I get a lot of sunlight through the window, I also kept the nursery pot and put it inside a bigger decorative pot, and watered it yesterday, I made sure the pot has draining hole but was wondering how much water do these plants usually need? Thanks

That should be a good amount of light :) Water when the top few inches of soil are dry. Good idea keeping it in the nursery pot; they have good drainage
