I go through periods of stress where I only have enough energy to focus on me and I end up neglecting my plants. I always feel so bad once I snap out of it and realize what plants made it and which ones didn’t😞

I’m so sorry. I think many plant keepers have been through this. Hang in there! Look on the bright side, now you get to go plant shopping!

Sorry you’ve been stressed. Be kind to yourself by not adding plant parent guilt/shame on top of all the other stuff you’re juggling.

Think of picking your next plants like picking a friend/partner. Sure there are plenty of plants out there that are pretty and cool and complex, but would you two be compatible? Would that plant stand by you when times get tough?

You need a sturdy low maintenance independent plant that’s not going to put their needs before yours and will be there with a smile when you come through the other side… and maybe a bunch of self watering pots as extra insurance 😜

OMG Felicia I so feel you!! I get periods of stress \& depression and am basically bed ridden and don’t even have the energy like you said for my self or barley enough to do the basics like brush my teeth and take my meds!! I’m sry you’re going thru this!! I know easier days than done but try not to add stress about the plants to the stress you already have!! Maybe get some low maintenance plants, I love pothos cuz they are super easy and low maintenance!! If you have the means consider some self watering pots and also some grow lights if they are needed that way you can keep them on a timer, I got some on amazon for dirt cheap and they actually do the job very well as some days I can’t handle a bright room so the grow lights help a ton!! I hope 🤞 your stress lifts a little!! your will most definitely be in my thoughts and I’m sending good vibes to you and your plants!! 🌱✨💚
