# Supposedly, this is a philodendron Prince o’orange. I got it about…

Supposedly, this is a philodendron Prince o’orange. I got it about three years ago. I only had a couple of leaves. And it is still small and it just started putting out leaves about six months ago, but they’re still all tight and not opening up. I have it in an east facing window and then it does get some west facing in the evening. Can someone tell me what is going on please? I’m watering it as the app says or if it gets a little too dry. I do live in the Phoenix area.

Mine looks almost the same🫤

Have you had it for years and it’s pretty much stayed the same size? I mean it’s obviously growing but it’s a slow grower and I’m just concerned that the leaves aren’t unrolling as fast as they should.

I would give it some humidity. You live in a very dry climate as i do so I've got 2 humidifiers. I think it could help the leaves unfold

Yeah, I have thought about that. My house is about 40% humidity. Maybe it does require more. I will try the humidifier thing for sure. Thank you.

Oh really? 40%?! Wow i would have thought wayyy less. The hightest humidity in the summer here (in the rocky mountains of Utah) is 30% but its usually around 6% - 15%
