# So here is my money tree that I’m trying to keep alive I’ve cut back…

So here is my money tree that I’m trying to keep alive I’ve cut back the top and pruned it and getting some new shoots but this one brown branch is kinda soft, I’m wondering if it’s supposed to be soft and wrinkled

This happened to one of my stems, just got worse. I suggest getting that stem out as soon as possible and checking the roots of the others, maybe even changing the soil.

The rest of the started getting wrinkled and mushy so I had to get rid of my beautiful money tree 😔 but I learned a lot along the way with help and knowledge from the community of people on Planta 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽🤗🤗 thank you everyone! I’ll try again this spring with a new money tree 🌴 🤞🏽🍀

For what it’s worth, it never spread and I’ve had four healthy stems remain for eight months now.
