I don’t see this thick roots to become a huge tree. Should I be concerned or is it still a baby. Depending on light, water, and fertilizer, FLF will grow anywhere from a couple inches to a couple feet each year. It's possible with optimal care to have a the tree you want (assuming about 5+ feet tall) in a few years, but these plants can be so temperamental that I wouldn't count on it being quick.
