hi everyone! i’ve had this brake fern for about month or two. i kind of got it impulsively without realizing this type of fern is a bit harder to keep alive. but it’s been so far so good, i think (my cats do take a bit out of it every now and then). i’m just wondering if it’s looking a bit leggy and i need to prune/trim it down. trying to do my best with taking care of this guy, so any advice is appreciated!

I’m no expert but I’d snip off the longest of those shoots. Maybe 4 or 5 of them. Not sure if you can propagate those in water but it’s worth a shot.
