ANYONE KNOW WHAT THIS IS!?! IT LOOKS LIKE EGGS BUT I REALLY HOPE ITS NOT.

My string of bananas has been having a rough time so I decided to give it some fresh fry soil and I took it out of the pot to find this… about to chuck this outside if I find out these are eggs 😭😭

It’s just a harness fungus. It occurs when the soil is damp for a longer period of time. It’s easily removable but can reoccur if soil remains damp.

Honestly that looks like mealy bug eggs to me, especially since they can be in your root system and you saying your plant hasn’t been doing too well
