Hello everyone!! I’m new to being a plant parent and I really need help!

I got this Alocasia Frydek at a coffee shop about a month ago and I noticed two of his leaves have turned yellow and are drooping really bad. One new leaf has grown over the past few days and I’ve watered it three times since I got it.

He’s still in his original nursery pot, but I have a 6 inch pot with draining holes and organic indoor soil. I’m just afraid to repot in case he goes into shock or I make it worse.

Please please help any advice will do💗

I think it’s alright. The plant is focusing its energy on new leaves instead of maintaining old leaves.

Hello \& congrats on your new cutie! I’m no expert on indoor plants. As of now, all of mine are outdoors.  
Usually when one of mine starts yellowing on the bottom leaves, it’s indicative of root crowding. And it sounds like your guy is growing, (which is awesome) 🤩 and needs more room to stretch his roots. You could transplant him into the new pot. He’ll probably have some issues at first, such a drooping, etc. But don’t let it panic you! 😊  
(Used to stress me out something awful!)  
Just try to anticipate it. Keep a close eye on him. Adapt \& overcome. You got this!  
\* Hopefully somewhere in this rambling, you found a bit of help! 😂  
PS One real piece of advice that I’m 100% on is that plants love music!! It helps them to thrive.  
I sing to my guys outside all the time!  
No applause as of yet. But they never complain.  
For all they know, I sound like Mariah or Celine! 😂  
\*I attached some pics of my rattlesnake fern I found in the woods. I transplanted it into the small greenish pot at first. A month later I transplanted him into the larger pot. But he was totally droopy for a while.

You have watered it 3 times in less than a month? Sounds like and looks like overwatering. Check the roots.

Your soil looks to heavy and dense. You may need a faster draining soil or amend it.

I’m horrible at overwatering! My first indoor plant (15 years ago) was a cactus, which swiftly died from the H20. 😂 I focus on outdoor plants nowadays
