Someone… _PlantNewbSTL님이 2025-11-30에 게시함_ So I have like 25 repottings I wanna try and get done today. Someone come help haha. Please refrain from commenting any opinions on repotting and it being fall/winter time. All of my plants are 100% indoor year round living their best life in their high humidity safe haven temperature control box also known as my home. Sure, if your plants spend any extended time outside during spring or summer, I wouldn’t repot. But my plants don’t know what winter is lol. Essentially, if I got the plant within the last 2 weeks from marketplace , I’m repotting them. If it’s in a black pot from the store, I’m repotting them. If it’s in a clear pot, they are already living their best life in whatever I mixed up in my soil mix lol I’m gonna name it Plant Crack and sell it haha. Also, just cause I’m repotting doesn’t mean they’re going to a bigger pot, if they need to then they will. I just want them in my soil mix. If you’re sensing any attitude, I apologize. Absolutely love your plants, lol lay a lot of black garbage bags down. I also like to do mine in the shower (stays cleaner) can just be a long and messy process. I lay down a big piece of painters plastic and I have a green tarp that’s 3x3 that all the old soil goes on, and when I’m done I just toss the soil out in the flower beds outside and in the spring it all gets remixed for outdoor plants. #### Nan님이 2025-11-30에 답변했습니다. Because some soils I see plants in, they just hold water for way to long for my liking, or it’s compacted and when I water them the water just runs down the sides and out the bottom. For example, my lemon lime Philo I got from marketplace, the water just sits on top and takes forever to soak through, it’s in a tiny little 3 in pot. Ok. 20 repottings completed. I’m done for now cause I’m out of correct size pots and orchid bark. My golden pothos cuttings are now potted along with my arrowheads that I made two pots out of lol repotted some older plants and some newer. Still some to go. After 35 years of living, I was finally able to pay off the layaway on my green thumb which I got back in July when all this started.
