What are y’alls tips for when ur getting a little burnt out on caring for ur plants? I love all 70 of mine but it gets a little overwhelming, heres a pic of my burros tail getting watered the other day for some enjoyment

Hobbies should bring you joy. If you are overwhelmed, it’s ok to downsize! My collection has gotten out of control so I’m currently gifting a few away. If there are ones in particular that are giving you grief, start with those.

When I started, I purchased darn near every plant I could find. Too many plants and they took too much time and it began to feel like a chore. I realized there were a few types I loved and a few fussy ones I did not. I decided to figure out why I wanted so many plants to begin with. I like to see things grow so all of my fast growing plants stayed. Most of the fussy ones were relocated to the dumpster. Others were gifted. Now I have only plants that I love and only the amount I have time for. Probably wasted a lot of money, but a lesson was learned!

Thank you!! I am planning on selling some at my local farmers market so hopefully theyll be going to a good home. I have ADHD so in the beginning i did the same, because it gave me that dopamine and eventually i collected and collected and i got here and the dopamine stopped, i feel guilty theowing away plants because they feel so alive, but in the end they are just plants, and if theyre stressing me out its probbaly not worth it to keep them, thank you so much!! We all have to learn to grow and i appreciate you sharing your experience
