# Does anyone know what kind of plant this is and why its bottom leaves…

Does anyone know what kind of plant this is and why its bottom leaves are turning yellow? I just repotted it because its leaves were yellow but wonder if I’m giving it too much water. It started out about an inch tall and is now about 4 inches tall from bottom watering it every other week or so and it was growing really well but the yellow leaves concern me.

Looks like a flaming Katy, they prefer to really dry out between waterings so I think the yellowing is just due to overwatering

^^Agreed, looks like a Kalanchoe. Mine gets leggy and leaves turn yellow when it’s not getting enough sun too.

mine did this until I started fertilizing, now she’s a blooming queen
