My neighbor saw I started to have a collection of plants in my outside porch. Cut these 2 things off and left me a note, “Enjoy”.  
Bless her heart,

I don’t know what these are. Any help? I’m assuming she just cut them off her original plant.

The elephant ear looking one, 1 has a bent in it like it broke, should I save it or cut it off and propagate that in water?

And the other, just put it in soil and keep it moving? 😅😅😅

First one is an Alocasia, maybe of the "Polly" variety? Second one is an Chinese Evergreen (aka Aglaonema), could be either "Maria" or "Silver Queen" variety
