This plant has been giving me problems. I'm not sure what it is but I think it's a succulent. This app has identified it as a dessert rose but I highly doubt it. It has produced a total of 3 green leaves that are similar to what (peperomia baby rubber plants) produce. They fall off shortly after arriving and the plant mostly stays dormant. Any advice on what this plant could be? And how to make sure it thriving?  
Also do you think the terracotta is too big for the plants root ball?

Roots look good. May be to much water i would use a chunky soil mix to repot and only water when the soil is dry by finger
