# Is this the right way to use this self watering thing? Never done…

Is this the right way to use this self watering thing? Never done this before! Getting ready to go on a trip and I’ll be gone for 8 days. Don’t want my peace lily to … peace out.

It was full abt 2hrs ago when I installed it. Top soil feels good and there’s nothing in the drip tray.
