hi my sweet mint has been very droopy since i watered it. how can i get her to stand back up? the first pic was from yesterday, but she’s sitting out in the sun now.

i just decided to start my garden again and these are my first two so any other tips would help.

If you pinch her back, she won’t be so leggy. I love mints. But unless you want them EVERYWHERE for years to come, be sure you plant them in a pot outside. LOL!

thank you! i will try pinching her back today!

yes i read that i should keep them in a pot so it doesn’t spread everywhere LOL so i’m definitely keeping that in mind.

Either the water knocked it down and it needs time to right itself or the sun is too intense. Try moving it a few inches forward into the brightly shaded area until it can acclimate to direct sun again.

thank you! i think it was the water bc she wasn’t in a super direct sunlight the past few days. but i’ll try moving it forward and hopefully w that and the pruning she’ll bounce back.

Mints are like weeds. The more you try to cut it, the faster it puts outs new growth. They spread under ground and are hard to remove from your yard. Even a 1 inch piece of root will sprout. We covered our backyard with a pool and concrete deck to kill the common mint!😂
