i would recommend a snake plant, which can be in pretty much any light besides pure darkness, and a pothos, which is good in water and in soil!

Pothos (epipremnum), ZZ plants, monstera deliciosa, monstera adansonii, rhaphidophora tetrasperma (mini monstera)

Anthuriums!! They aren’t extremely hard to care for, and the soil mix you make can also be used for other plants, I tend to make my mixes chunky, meaning good amount of perlite, leca, pine bark, a bit of houseplant compost and tree fern. They are gorgeous and don’t die hard.

one of the first plants i got was my monstera and it’s had hardly any issues, super easy for me to look after!! (although it has gotten really big and i need to re-pot it🙃)

Definitely a spider plant! They also grow little babies so you'll feel super accomplished!

I’ve heard spider plants and monstera are easy but not for me 😔🙈 I’ve had good luck with pothos and tradescantias!

If you have pets, make sure the plant is pet safe.

I’m a recently new plant mom and have had great success with my pothos, aloe, and snake plants!

I would really recommend the monstera deliciosa, a spider plant (which was my first and I still have it now, or a snake plant xx

Cactus don’t require much maintenance so that might be nice if you forget to water! Love my cactus and succulents
