What should I do about this? Am I able to propagate in soil or should I put it in water?

I’ve put a couple of broken Tradescantia branches in water and they take well. They can also be stuck straight into a pot.
Either or either they propagate nicely.
Good luck 🤞🏼

They grow well in both. Soil roots tend to be stronger. Plus, no need to transfer from water to soil. I would put it back into soil since it already started out that way. Be sure to fertilize. 🪴🍀

Either or just preference- I am lazy and just use my chop stick and stick it in a hole in same pot.
