# Did an anyone know why my rubber plant didn’t grow for 4 months in…

Did an anyone know why my rubber plant didn’t grow for 4 months in the late spring and summer then grew 7 leaves all at once over the past 2 weeks.

3 of those leave came from the same stem and it just popped out one leaf after another.

I think it is done for now but is this normal and has this happened to anyone else?

I saw it with my family rubber tree.

If you decide to prune it next spring or summer, you’ll see a similar pattern. When you prune it, it will grow more horizontally than vertically. You’ll get a bushier look.

Ok thank you good to know, the weird thing is I’ve had this plant for a few years and I’ve never pruned it in my life and I don’t think the plant store pruned it either.
