# Hello plant people!!!!!👋🌵🪴🌱 So I have a few a few 2 inch pots…

Hello plant people!!!!!👋🌵🪴🌱 So I have a few a few 2 inch pots that have some cuttings in them that I would like to sell! But I was wondering how much I should sell them for!!!! I have a silver nerve plant, waffle plant, spider plant, jade plant, and a mother of thousands!!!Thank you so much in advance!!!!🩷 I don’t have pictures of the others yet!!!And I still need to put those ones in their👇pots!!!! Sorry!!!

Are you planning to sell them online or in person?

Generally for selling plants I take into consideration how much I paid for the mother plant, the size of the baby compared to that, and the price being asked by other sellers for the same type and size of plant.

I take the price of the pot(s) + the plant (but since you grew them from cuttings I would look online or change time for the cuttings to grow but sometimes that can be a bit extreme) I would uncharge a bit so you can still make profit but you will hopefully already be because you basically grew them yourself for free!

It really depends on where you live as well. I am in a region where plants are 4-5 times the price of where I use to live. I started selling my babies for the price I paid for a plant twice the size and people are still getting a great deal. Keep in mind I fly new varieties in when I travel. Yes I carry 6-10 plants as my personal item on the plane.

I’m in the sub arctic so you either have to grow them locally and our electricity is double the price of down south or you have to fly them in. Plants don’t move here during the winter because it’s too cold. All those things contribute to higher prices.
