Hey guys, I live in Alaska, currently getting a lot of daylight and I did a recent cutting on my Swiss cheese about 1 week ago and the cutting and mother leaves are turning yellow. Would it be from too much light?

It looks like the cutting was maybe too big as in had too many leaves.  
Typically you don’t want more than 2 leaves per cut only bc then the plant will focus more on keeping the leaves alive rather than putting out new roots.  
As for the mother plant I would check the roots \& take it from there
