Can anyone confirm what this is growing out of this cutting? I’ve had it propagating in water. I know roots are growing (bottom two white sprouts) but the newer green sprouts— leaves? A new stem? A root? It’s growing underwater lol

Definitely a new leaf and stem!

It’s definitely the new growth point where the rest of the vine will grow from. The cutting is way too short to begin with. So, the plant has no other options/nodes to grow out from.

Plant it burying two roots in the soil with the new leaf pointed up. You might lose the big leaf after a while. Don’t cut it. It’s capturing sunlight for the plant. 🍀🪴

No clue. Just here to say that every day I’m more and more amazed at how plants behave when we’re not looking 🥰
