# So just watered my snake plant and the drained water has been looking…

So just watered my snake plant and the drained water has been looking like this for a while now. What does it mean? Time for new soil, lack of nutrients in the soil, fungus?? I have a few other plants that does this as well.

Possible mineral buildup. Next time you water you can “flush it”. Basically watering until the water runs clear. Don’t just pour water continuously though, you want to water, let drain, water, let drain, and just keep repeating until the draining water is clear. Then let sit so all the excess can drain out.
