You could be overwatering, I use planta as more of a time to check on the plants it suggests I water. If thier soil is still wet, I’ll skip it til next time, if it just needs a little more time I just snooze it for two days

I adjust my times for most plants at around 1week (chunky aerated mix) as I’ve noticed planta likes to overwater 🫠

I think it may also be overwatering or maybe pests got into your soil or root rot but if you’re going to water as much as Planta tells you to then maybe water with reservation whenever it tells you to water so it’s you’re just keeping the plant semi quenched.

I agree wholeheartedly with the other commenters. Planta tends to schedule waterings too frequently, so I use the snooze and skip function all the time. I invested in a moisture meter (less than $10 on Amazon) because I didn’t feel confident about my ability to gauge soil moisture otherwise. I am new to houseplants, but the biggest lesson I’ve learned so far is patience! I have to force myself not to not mess with them too much! Sometimes you gotta let ‘em go and let ‘em grow.

Thank you all

Water only when you see soil dry , but not crusty, schedule is to keep alert to water on that certain day, rather then quantity or when.

If you see it dry, but planta says wait 2 days, but you know it doesn’t look right. Add water, and learn how much it needs day to day.

You should DEFININTELY not be following plants schedule. Notoriously known to give your plants too much water, you should use it as a suggestion to check your plants soil for dryness, don’t follow it to a T.

Thank you all for your response I wish I would have asked this before killing so many plants
