Thanks! I bought it on a trip and it had to survive a long drive home and then a transplant and I thought for sure I killed it when half the leaves fell off the next day and were blackened. So I just put it in this bathroom with a grill light and left it alone for three months. Lol

I was in a small car accident with mine. She survived. My headlight did not 😅 Was so thankful she and her Thai Pink Passion sister somehow didn’t lose a leaf after flying straight into the dashboard. I’m still waiting for my pink one to bloom, but here’s mine to wish yours good luck 😉 I did find that these guys do not enjoy an intense repot, so my tip if you ever plan to add onto her with extra lipstick plant branches (I rescued and combined ones from Lowe’s) is to liberally cover the roots in Bonide’s Rooting Hormone Powder. And if you trim the stems between the nodes on the spots where the leaves fell off, it should eventually branch to form new spots for blooms to grow from.

Thank you!! I’m glad you and the plants were OK! 🫣😬

I received a warm and friendly chastising here on planta when I said I repotted this at first 😆 …so lesson learned. Which is good because I really only have been doing house plants for a couple years and I’m still learning. I’m hopeful she’s happy in this pot for a while because I don’t want to repeat that trauma anytime soon.
