# Is it normal to get this many yellow leaves dying off? I can’t tell…

Is it normal to get this many yellow leaves dying off? I can’t tell if I’m under or over watering…especially since I also have new growth coming in! This started the last couple weeks

Looks a little over watered to me.

Shoot lol I thought I was under watering it so I finally watered it again 🫣 I tried to wait it out to see if not watering it as often seemed to help and I didn’t think it did

Let it dry out before watering it again. I don’t think those leave will come back tho, they might be goners

I had similar with mine, I found plantas water recommendation for this one was too much and had lots of leaf melt from overwatering. They bounce back well though. Pull off all the yellow/yellowing leaves, let it dry out completely and only water again when the leaves feel thin and look a little droopy also try to stick to bottom watering as then the plant will only pull up as much water as it needs
